A QUICK RUN-DOWN

Hi there! I am Cierra Copeland, a graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in Advertising, concentration in art direction. I worked hard to learn everything I could about visual communication, strategy, problem-solving, public relations management, marketing, and the list goes on; but what I worked even harder to learn, was how to empower others through effective communication and drive. With those skill sets, I am able to succeed with communication and social skills, to effectively work with others in all types of environments. My mission to continue growing in those areas including others outside of my field, allow me to positively impact many lives with which I’m fortunate enough to cross paths.

Some of my skillsets include: art direction, visual communication, graphic design, effective communication, public relations, strategy, account management, problem solving, UX/UI, project management. The list goes on, but I'd rather walk you through me skillsets in a one-on-on meeting.

RECOGNITION

I placed first along with other members of ACES Agency, in my senior capstone course. My team created a comprehensive advertising campaign promoting their app and contactless ordering. My team created "Deliver The Experience", an innovative campaign that allowed the brand to deliver the in-store DiBruno Brother experience online. First place winners receive public recognition and tasty gifts.

Inspired by the motto of Temple University, Perserverantia Vincit, this award is presented to the student who continues to display exceptional determination and focus on behalf of the entire department of Advertising and Public Relations of Temple University.

I received an honorable mention as a finalist in this national design competition. I was inducted into an online gallery that showcased my work and was publicly recognized for my "It Has To Be Heinz" poster designs.

I was nominated to attend the MultiCultural Talent Pipeline (MCTP) hosted by Publics Groupe. There I met with leading advertising agencies and partners, to gain insight and advice from industry professionals. Following this experience I was selected among 24 other individuals nationwide, to participate in their 8 week internship program.
